The people, at our workshop metal studio take metal and turn it into something that is really useful and looks great.

The Fabricators Behind the Fury

We have a group of metal craft professionals. They are the ones who actually build your projects. Each person in this group is important because they help keep our shop running make sure everyone is safe and they always focus on doing good quality work. Metal craft professionals are the key, to getting your projects done right.

John P. Michaels
Founder & Lead Fabricator

John started this workshop metal studio over twenty years ago with a few basic tools like a hood, a grinder and a really big vision for what he wanted to do. He is very good, at making steel designs figuring out tricky structural metal layouts and solving problems as they come up in the bay. John likes to get his hands dirty with the welding work and making sure all the pieces fit together properly. This way every custom metal job he does is what the client needs, not just the easiest way to do it. John and his metal studio do work with metal because he always puts the client first.

Mike “The Torch” Rodriguez
Master Welder

Mike is the guy we trust with the tough welding jobs and the biggest steel frames. He is very good at doing work on metal art and he can also weld big metal pieces without making mistakes. Mikes welding is always steady and smooth which is why our shop is known for doing welds that look good and are strong. We trust Mike with the welding work because he does such a great job. Mike is really good, at welding metal builds and small metal craft.

Sarah Chen
Design & Detail Engineer

Sarah takes these ideas and turns them into a clear design for steel that our crew can really follow. She looks at the dimensions and the load paths and the type of metal we will use for the structure. This way the drawings we have match what is actually happening on the floor. The plans that Sarah makes help keep all the projects, in the shop organized. This means we save time. We do not have to redo things as much.. That means the jobs keep moving forward with Sarahs steel design.

Leo Jackson
Fabrication & Finishing Specialist

Leo is the person who operates our cutting tables and the tools we use to make metal parts in the workshop. He makes sure these metal parts are accurate. Leo also takes care of the finishing touches. This means he makes sure each custom metal piece looks right and is protected. Leo has a lot of skills that help him do his job well. He is good, at metal pieces together grinding them down and applying coatings. These skills help us get from a piece of raw steel to a metal build that is ready to install. Leos skills with metal builds are really helpful.
