People often ask us about custom metal work and what that really means. They want to know about the timing of our projects and how we do our welding. We will tell you what we do with metal in our shop in simple terms so you can understand what is going on with your custom metal project.

What kinds of metals do you usually work with most of the time when it comes to the metals? The metals that you work with what are they?

Days we work with steel because we build things with metal we make steel frames and we do projects in our shop. When someone wants a special metal job done we also use aluminum or other kinds of metal. We help you choose the metal that will be strong enough, for what you need so it will really work for you not look good on paper.

Do I need to have finished drawings. Can we start working on the project from just an idea of the website design?

People really like finished drawings. You do not have to have one. A lot of clients come to us with a simple sketch or a photo and a basic idea for a custom metal piece. We take that idea for a custom metal piece and turn it into a clear design, for a custom metal piece made of steel. Then we build the custom metal piece in our shop where we make things.

How long does a typical project take?

The time it takes to finish a metal build depends on how big it’s how complicated it is. If you have a project that you are working on in your shop it can be done in a few weeks.. If you have a big project that involves a lot of structural metal work it can take a couple of months to finish. When we start working on your metal build we will give you an idea of how it will take to finish the metal build and we will make sure to stick to that time frame for your metal build.

Are you able to build things for spaces and also for outdoor conditions?

We make metal buildings for inside and outside. For the metal buildings we pick the kind of metal the right coatings and the right way to weld them together. This way the metal buildings will last a time whether they are in a lobby or outside in the rain. We build metal buildings that can withstand the weather and the way they will be used. We are located in Huntington, Indiana. We do metal work for people all over the United States. This includes making metal things in our workshop and building metal projects. We can also bring the finished metal work to you and put it together so you do not have to look for someone to do that part. For us putting the metal work in place is just as important, as making it in our shop. We do workshop metal and larger metal builds. We take care of the installation of our workshop metal and larger metal builds too.
